Another Cake!

I wanted to make a cake last night so I came up with this! It's just a simple two layered wedding cake, both these cakes are actually the same cake, I just enjoyed playing around with it! I wanted to put something on the top of this cake but I didn't have a cake topper, but my mom helped me by giving me this topper, it was on her birthday cake that she had earlier this year. She had kept it and I thought it worked out pretty good!

Puerto Rico Trip

Joel and I are so excited! We are going to be going to Puerto Rico... Again!! We were lucky to get to go over spring break last year, and now we get to go again! Joel is in the air force and he is getting paid to work over in Puerto Rico and Leah and I are going with him, it's going to be a lil family vacation, we'll be leaving july 6th and we'll be there for two weeks! We can't wait! It's going to be exciting taking Leah with us this time! This will be her first time on the beach.

Leah's Bday Dress

So, my friend Janee found this dress on ebay and
I thought it was absolutely perfect for Leahs
Watermelon birthday party so I ordered right away! After it comes in I am going to get Leah's name put on it, Thank you Janee for finding this dress!!

Beautiful Alyson

I got to take pictures of Alyson today, she is my best friend and has been for about 6 years now. Unfortunately, she is going back to school up in Baltimore thursday, but she was here for a while and we got to spend alot of time together just like old times. I'm going to miss her! Love you Alyson!

Heather and Drew's wedding

I went with my mom yesterday to this wedding to practice taking pictures and it was alot of fun!
This bride had a beautiful wedding and I absolutely loved her dress and veil! This bride seemed like so much fun, you can tell she had a sweet, bubbly personality.
I love going to weddings with my mom, she's taught me alot but I still have alot more to learn, I'm glad that I have her here, I like watching her work, she really loves what she does.

Misty and Tim's wedding

Hey everyone, I just took these pictures saturday, May 16, for Tim and Misty, this is the first time I've done a wedding by myself and it was alot of fun, the wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything went perfect, poor Misty was worried about the weather because her wedding was outside and it kept raining on and off, but luckily the rained stopped before the ceremony and everything turned out great! You never know what's going to happen with this crazy Texas weather!

a new cake

Yesterday I decided to make a cake, I wanted to make something cute, so I sketched out a cake like this and was able to finish it pretty quick because Joel was here ,and Leah and him were swimming and wanted mommy to come swim with them :) but I like this cake, it looks a lil messy to me, but that's what practice is for! I just wish I knew a lil girl whose birthday is coming up in the next couple of days, lol I don't what I'm going to do with it!

My baby

This is my daughter Leah, She is going to be 2 soon but she will always be my lil baby! My husband Joel and I Love her so much! My Cakes

Hey everyone! Ok, so I've always loved sketching things like wedding dresses and cakes, but I never actually tried to make one of my cakes so a few months ago I thought I'd try it and to my suprise I'm not half bad at it, lol not to sound full of myself of anything like that, but I didn't think any of my cakes could turn out the way I wanted them to, but this is my passion and what I want to do! My mom, who I am very proud of, is a professional photographer does tons of wedding so hopefully someday we can both be in the wedding business, sometimes I go with her to the weddings and take my camera to practice pictures because it's also something I like to do and may do on the side someday, yesterday for the first time, I did a wedding by myself and it was alot of fun and I really enjoyed working with this Bride, she is such a sweetheart! I will post those pics as soon as I can, but for now here are pictures of my cakes, enjoy!
